We were taught this 75 years ago.....in Greenleaf, Wisconsin (General Discussion)

Times and things have changed, Thirsty, whether we like it or not. We have to go on living our own lives the best way that we can, as we were taught, and we cannot change, nor be responsible for the rebels of this day. We had rebels back in our day as well, but we didn't have internet etc. to where it was so easy to see the faults of the masses, like we can today.

To be sure, our forefathers and mothers have turned over in their graves even at some of the things WE are doing today, because none of us are perfect.....we just aren't as bad as the ones you are referring to.

We have to find the good in that which is good, and try to think on those things instead of the bad, because it really can lift spirits. Listening to all of the junk on the news (or finding articles on the internet) can really drag us down, and we have little control on changing it. I try to ignore it and go on with the good life......as good as it is, though it could definitely be a lot better.

In the words of a nice old gent who I know: "Don't worry, be happy, keep smiling". ;-)

Have a good weekend.
