Lesson learned..... (General Discussion)

Dumbing down. Those two words just might explain a few things I've seen and read. Cars that you set on driverless and then read your newspaper flying down the road at 70 miles per hour and trusting that the electronics in the car will save your life. Well, somebody would have to explain to me why those cars are crashing when they are not suppose to. Me, I want the control, because no driverless car can drive the other persons car which we have to do each time were out on the road.

Read yesterday that these push button start things in a lot of new cars are actually killing people and making a lot more sick. Carbon Monoxide, because the driver just thought they turned the engine off. Ya, I know, who in their right mind wouldn't notice the car is still running. The point is, electronic things that are suppose to make life easier are "dumbing us down" using convenience as the reason to have this stuff.
