Actually, how not to (How To)

I didn't like the idea that when you use Google to search, they keep track of all your searches. This leads to all kinds of junk on your computer screen and in the mail. Firefox browser has an ad on that blocks Google from saving your searches. Free, so I downloaded it. The next day Google search would do the search and give a list of sites just like before but when you tried to open them, they wouldn't. So, I guess that's called "google punishment".

I do some searching on google and don't have that problem. I do have Ad Blocker on so it picks up about 100-150 items a day and blocks them. I never get spam or ads at all, or old searches. Don't know if that is what does it or not, but something is. I also have Microsoft Essentials for a virus blocker and never had a virus in 5 years......Free and good.....

Security essentials stopped updating last April so you are only protected from viruses that hit the net before that. AVG is a good one that updates all the time and it's free. After you click on the link, scroll down to the green dot and download there, don't hit the download button at the top. Just a suggestion.

Funny they wouldn't warn you or at least tell you about this. Thanks
