I hope you didn't put the shovel away yet (General Discussion)

TV 2 had three weather prediction things saying anywhere from 6 to 24 inches of snow coming this weekend. Wind and freezing rain to go along with it. Of course we all heard this kind of forecast before and then get an inch of snow, but, what if it does happen? Might be a good idea to take stock at what you got in the pantry and have some drinking and cooking water in something. Water for the toilet, fill the tub.

I'm more worried about the wind . Just seen 50 mph gusts possible . Keeping my fingers crossed the power won't be out for too long .

I'm sure we will have bad weather this weekend, but none of the models show much snow, mostly rain and snow and sleet and not over an 1" of snow, however with the wind everything could change. We could be without power a long time, that's what scares me. However, with a gas stove, it can be lit with a match and will keep the house warm.

I'm not worried, I have a wood stove to heat and a wood cookstove so we can eat, let it come
